Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a ticket. By participating in the FernHarbour Charity Lotto, you agree to be bound by these rules.
1.1. The FernHarbour Charity Lotto ("the Lottery") is conducted by the FernHarbour Community Trust ("the Promoter"), a registered charity in New Zealand (Charity Number: CC12345).
1.2. The Lottery is conducted under Class 3 Gambling Licence No. 3/123/456/2025 issued by the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) in accordance with the Gambling Act 2003.
1.3. The Net Proceeds of the Lottery are applied specifically to the authorized purposes of the Trust, which include youth sports development, educational grants, and community facility maintenance.
1.4. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, subject to approval by the Department of Internal Affairs.
2.1. Participation is open only to individuals who meet the following criteria at the time of ticket purchase:
2.2. The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age and residency at any time. If a winner is found to be under 18 years of age or a non-resident, the ticket will be void, and the prize forfeit.
3.1. Tickets are priced at $5.00 NZD per entry (Weekly Lotto) or $2.00 NZD (Daily Keno). Prices are inclusive of GST.
3.2. Tickets can only be purchased online via the official website (this site).
3.3. Ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued except in the specific event that the Lottery is cancelled.
3.4. Tickets are not transferable and may not be resold.
3.5. The maximum number of tickets available for sale is 50,000. If all tickets are sold prior to the closing date, the draw may be held earlier, subject to regulatory notification.
4.1. The Draw will take place at the registered office of FernHarbour Community Trust at 123 Lambton Quay, Wellington, on the date specified on the ticket.
4.2. The draw will be conducted using a certified Random Number Generator (RNG) or a mechanical draw machine, under the supervision of an independent scrutineer/auditor approved by the DIA.
4.3. The results of the draw will be published on this website within 24 hours of the draw completion.
4.4. All prize winners will be notified via the email address and/or phone number provided at the time of registration.
5.1. First Prize: $10,000 NZD Cash. Second Prize: Technology Bundle (valued at $2,500). Third Prize: Grocery Vouchers ($1,000).
5.2. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable. Non-cash prizes cannot be redeemed for cash.
5.3. To claim a prize, winners must present valid photo identification (NZ Driver Licence or Passport) and proof of the winning ticket.
5.4. Prizes must be claimed within three (3) months of the draw date. If a prize remains unclaimed after 3 months, and after all reasonable attempts to contact the winner have failed, the prize or its cash equivalent will be disposed of in accordance with the Department of Internal Affairs regulations (usually returned to the authorized purpose).
5.5. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought.
6.1. FernHarbour Community Trust is committed to responsible gambling.
6.2. We provide options for self-exclusion. Users may request to have their account suspended if they feel their gambling is becoming a problem.
6.3. We do not offer credit for gambling. All tickets must be paid for in full at the time of purchase.

7.1. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury as a result of accepting the prize.
7.2. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical failures, internet service provider failures, or data transmission errors that may result in a ticket not being purchased or a notification not being received.
8.1. We collect personal information (Name, Email, Phone, Address) solely for the purpose of conducting the Lottery and notifying winners.
8.2. Your data is stored securely and will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is retained only as long as required by the Gambling Act 2003 for auditing purposes.
9.1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Lottery shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts.
